Good evening young man'.... Great to see you up and about.. Was just about to shoot off an email to you... lo and behold a review/tutorial.. And a bloody good one too. Been into this vice/hobbie.... for quite a few years now... And still get frustrated when trying to pick apart certain Whiskys. Just a couple of weeks ago I grabbed a bottle that had always walked past. Was discounted by $5...Stuff it .. for $65 (Aus)... why not. Smokehead. Well bugger me.. For the price to me it was a lovely uncomplicated peated Laphroaigish whisky. "Just sit back and enjoy it" I told myself. I have an open Bruich Classic Laddie that I was struggling with... I have a 'dry' 6 days ahead of me being on call for work... perfect! I'll have another listen to what you said... and take my time with it. Oh yes.... A month ago, my brother-In-Law phoned me .. What can you recommend? After cringing I thought... I don't want to kill his taste buds... So guess what the first suggestion was??? Yep , Cragg 12.... Ha Ha !! I remembered your review mate. Then the Dalwhinnie.. then threw another couple at him like Aberlour 12 and Glenmorangie 10... At least I know whatever he gets won't put him off ... and enjoy at his campfire...
